The Problem

Community, a text-based social marketing startup, faced the challenge of expanding its reach and establishing a strong presence within the sports vertical. The Idea

By leveraging our personal network to drive top athletes to the Community platform, we can give their fans a new way to engage in meaningful discussions about sports, which would create buzz throughout the entire sports world, ultimately driving growth in the sports vertical.



What We Did

Upon partnering with Community, we delved into understanding their target audience and their unique value proposition. We identified key user segments within the sports vertical, including sports fans, athletes, coaches, and sports influencers.

With this understanding, we developed a targeted prospecting strategy. Our team actively engaged with sports influencers, professional athletes, and sports organizations to generate buzz and promote the app within the sports community.



To facilitate engagement, we created custom, Community-specific, digital marketing strategies each individual we signed onto the platform. We worked closely with the Community team to optimize the user experience, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable platform for sports enthusiasts to connect, share experiences, and build relationships with their favorite athletes and sports brands.



Furthermore, we collaborated with sports influencers to create exclusive campaigns to drive virality. This involved hosting live Q&A sessions, organizing virtual events, and offering special promotions and incentives to attract new users from the sports industry.
